Japanese Cosmetics Company Opens NY Offiice

The company's new global strategy office is in midtown, Manhattan.

Pola Orbis Holdings, one of Japan’s leading cosmetics companies with 12 subsidiaries in its global portfolio, announces the opening of Pola Orbis’ US-based global strategy office in New York City.

The new office is located in midtown Manhattan, and is closely aligned with Tokyo headquarters focused on furthering the company’s global presence including assessing key brand acquisitions.

The company oversees a rich portfolio of global brands that include POLA, Orbis, Jurlique, H2O Plus and THREE, among others.

“The opening of the POLA ORBIS Global Business Strategy Office in New York serves as a base point for the Group’s overseas development process,” said Satoshi Suzuki, president and CEO, Pola Orbis.

Suzuki continued, “This division will formulate marketing strategies geared to each country and region, in line with the multi-brand strategy which seeks to boost market share through several brands, and accelerate efforts to demonstrate synergies among the brands handled by Group companies.”

Robert F. Seidl, the Chief Global Business Strategy Officer of Pola Orbis, will be heading up the New York location alongside William Colli, who serves as the company’s new General Manager.

Pola Orbis aims to accelerate its growth in global markets and achieve consolidated sales of US $2.5 billion by 2020.
